The team’s vast experience in managing strip out, refurbishment and relocation of occupants played a major part in managing and completing this 2,200m2 fitout.
The fitout of the two office floors used a restricted and cautiously selected palette of finishes.
The Quatram Building Services team liaised with structural engineers to create a new level 24. It was critical that the slab cut out was the exact dimensions to ensure that a main structural beam supporting the floor was not tampered with.
The works also consisted of new kitchen fitouts (one being a fully equipped formal kitchen), training facilities, a large boardroom with the use of an operable wall, a video conferencing and a training room. These were all designed to comply with the disability act.
The fitout also included a new computer room, mail rooms, three showers, a WC which contained angle dust tiling and the reconfiguration and numbering of 105 workstations ( the numbers had to correspond to each employee relocating).
14 meeting rooms and 18 offices were constructed to incorporated top of the line audio visual equipment. Alterations and additions were also made to fire services and mechanical services, with new electrical, data and hydraulic services to ensure compliance with BCA and building regulations. |
