The bank moved from level 6 to level 8 in the building providing them contiguous floors with their main reception on level 9.The fit out required a staircase to be constructed between level 8 and level 9 to give staff direct access between floors. To accomodate the staircase an excisting kitchen and ensuite had to be removed.

Due to level 9 being in occupation, the demolition and structural works involved with the staircase, were completed out of hours, whilst the construction of offices and work stations continued during the day.

The balance of the floor was taken up with offices, meeting rooms, a relocated comms room a new staff coffee / kitchen area. We had to work to a tight budget but more importantly to a tight programme to ensure that the bank did not endure two rents.
